Types of functional diversity

Promoting universal accessibility in the industry has been one of the main focuses of this district. A number of programmes have been launched to help establishments to improve their accessibility.

The Euskadi Tourism Accessibility Programme is one of these such programmes, designed to boost the creation of a "Tourism for all in the Basque Country".

The establishments that have taken part in the programme have gone through different phases of diagnosis and improvements, which have culminated in the awarding of an accessibility seal. Different colours are used to indicate the level of accessibility for each type of functional diversity.
